Next Steps: March–April Belly Dance Series

I'm absolutely loving our new space and location, and I'm so excited to welcome you into this next chapter with us. Our new dance space feels fresh, grounded, and full of possibility—and we can’t wait to dance together in it.

Classes take place on Mondays and Thursdays. Whether you’re continuing your dance journey or joining for the first time, you are warmly invited to be part of this next phase.

Curious to try it out? Join us for special pay-what-you-can “Try Me” classes on March 2nd and March 5th, a perfect opportunity to experience the class, the space, and the vibe before committing. These classes will be followed by 8-week sessions for those ready to dive deeper and build consistency. Shimmies, Sahra

Belly Dance Fitness with Sahra

Enjoy this fitness fusion belly dance class designed to support strength, movement, and technique. This class is a great fit for students new to belly dance, those looking for a low-impact workout, and dancers wanting to build a stronger technical foundation.


Class begins with a mat-based warm-up focused on core strength and body awareness, then moves into belly dance technique, drills, and combinations. The pace is supportive and accessible, making it easy to move at your own level. This is an all-levels class—everyone is welcome. Wear comfortable clothes like yoga pants and a t-shirt, and bring a water bottle.

Belly Dance Fundamentals is a fun, welcoming class—perfect for beginners and dancers looking to refine their technique. You will learn the fundamentals of classic belly dance style through an engaging, supportive movement experience. Each class introduces basic isolations, steps, combinations, and short routines while building confidence, musicality, and body awareness. We’ll also touch on the history and styles of belly dance along the way.


Class begins with a gentle cardio and conditioning warm-up and ends with a relaxing yoga cool down. You’ll also receive an introduction to finger cymbals (cymbals will be available to borrow) —no experience needed. Wear comfortable clothes like yoga pants and a t-shirt, and bring a water bottle.
