This workshop is designed to impart information “experientially” that can
prevent or relieve stress, fatigue and injury. F.M. Alexander’s discoveries
and principles will be introduced to promote harmonious mind/body
functioning for improved flexibility, coordination and balance. Carolyn will
use her professional hands-on guidance to help students identify and
release habitual patterns of tension while facilitating a dynamic
reorganization of the neuromuscular system. Anatomical clarification in
relation to kinesthetic sensation and movement will elicit a better
understanding of how we are designed to function with ease and grace.
The Alexander Technique principles will be applied to activities of daily
living and participant’s choice of complex skills.
