As the air turns crisp and the leaves begin to dance their way to the ground, it’s the perfect time to move with the rhythm of the season! Our October class lineup invites you to flow, strengthen, and express through movement — from foundational Belly Dance Basics and energizing Cardio Belly Dance to Modern Belly Dance Fusion and a grounding Moon Salutes Yoga workshop. Whether you’re stepping into the studio for the first time or continuing your dance journey, each class is designed to connect you to your body, your breath, and the joy of movement.


This month’s offerings include Belly Dance Basics (Sundays), Belly Dance Core Fitness Fusion (Mondays — offered hybrid with a Zoom option after registration), Cardio Belly Dance (NEW CLASS!) and Belly Dance Combinations & Choreography (Wednesdays), Modern Belly Dance Fusion (Thursdays - New choreography starting this week - 10/9), and the Moon Salutes Yoga Workshop on November 2nd. Most classes meet in-studio; the Monday Core Fusion is the one hybrid option, so please register at least one hour before class to receive the Zoom link. Sunday Classes


Belly Dance Basics *

October 5 - October 12, 2025 (New Session Starts in November/Drop-ins Welcome)

Join in on the fun and belly dance with us! Learn the fundamentals of classic belly dance style while enjoying an engaging movement experience. Each class you will be introduced to basic isolations, steps, and short combinations. History and styles of belly dance will be discussed. This class is perfect for beginners or those wishing to refine their technique. Class starts with a cardio warm-up and ends with a yoga cool down. Wear comfortable clothes such as yoga pants and a t-shirt and bring a water bottle. No refunds unless session is canceled by instructor. Opportunities to make up missed classes will be available! Cash, check, credit card or PayPal accepted.



Monday Classes


Belly Dance Core Fitness Fusion (Hybrid Class)* In-Person only on October 20th

October 6 - October 27, 2025

7:00PM-8:00PM



Enjoy this fitness fusion class! This class is great for students new to belly dance, those looking for a low impact workout, and individuals aiming to strengthen their technique. Class starts with a mat based warm-up focusing on core strengthening, then moves into belly dance technique and combinations. Belly dance movements will integrate core strengthening and toning. We'll work with these combinations into a short dance routine. Class ends with a relaxing stretch. This is an all levels class. Zoom link will be sent after registration. Please register at least 1 hour before class in order to get the Zoom link. No refunds unless class is canceled by instructor.


Wednesday Classes


Cardio Belly Dance!*

Always wanted to try belly dance?  Looking for a fun and engaging exercise to meet your fitness needs? Check out this short and sweet belly dance cardio workout.  In 45 minutes have fun belly dancing to upbeat music, learn new belly dance movements, fun filled combos, and increase your heart rate! Belly dance is a low impact dance form.  No experience necessary.    Cost is $18 drop-in or $50 for the full 3 week session. No refunds unless session is canceled by instructor.  A small PayPal fee is added to online payments. Wear comfortable exercise clothes and bring a water bottle.  Let's have fun dancing!


Belly Dance Combinations and Choreography

Wednesdays, October 1 - October 29, 2025 (No Class on October 22nd)

Join us for a fun-filled belly dance experience! In this session, we will go beyond the basics of classic belly dance while enjoying an immersive and engaging movement experience. Each class introduces you to essential isolations, steps, and combinations, and explores the relevant history of the dance. This class is ideal for advanced beginners and those looking to enhance their dance skills in a supportive environment. Wear comfortable attire, such as yoga pants and a t-shirt, and remember to bring a water bottle. Please note, refunds are only available if the session is canceled by the instructor, but makeup classes will be arranged. We accept payment via cash, check, credit card, or PayPal.


Thursday Classes


Modern Belly Dance Fusion

October 9 -October 23, 2025

6:30PM -7:25PM

Cost: $50 for 3 week series/$20 Drop-in




Join us for a captivating Modern Belly Dance Fusion class that celebrates uplifted posture, graceful arm work, fluid movements, and earthy expression. We'll incorporate elements from Western dance styles, including pops and locks, lyrical dance, and original combinations to create a unique experience.


In this session, you'll learn fundamental techniques, expand your dance vocabulary, learn exciting belly dance routines, and explore the use of props. Our music selection will span from traditional Middle Eastern sounds to EDM and pop, ensuring an energizing atmosphere. The month we'll start learning an ooey gooey fusion choreography inspired by sinuous, snake like movements.


Each class begins with a conditioning warm-up and concludes with a soothing yoga cool down. This session is suitable for all levels, so whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, we can't wait to dance with you! Please note, there are no refunds unless the class is canceled by the instructor.

Workshops


Moon Salutes Yoga Workshop

November 2nd, 5:00 - 6:30PM (RESCHEDULED)

Cost is only $25 paid in advance/$30 at the door

Registration:



Moon Salutes are deeply meditative and grounding practices. This workshop will guide you to become the guiding force in your own life through meditation. Throughout the class, you will be led through a series of poses designed to invoke change and cultivate harmony, balance, and introspection. While practitioners of all levels are welcome, familiarity with yoga is highly recommended.


Participants should bring their own yoga mats for the session. Refunds will only be issued if the class is canceled by the instructor. Advance registration is recommended to secure your spot.
