Kick off 2026 with movement, rhythm, and intention through our January dance and wellness offerings. Start the year strong with our Special New Year’s Day Workshop, Shimmy into the New Year—a high-energy belly dance experience designed to build confidence, power, and momentum for the months ahead. Throughout January, we offer a variety of beginner-friendly and all-level classes, from foundational belly dance and fitness-focused fusion to technique-building sessions that go beyond the basics, plus a modern fusion series that blends classic belly dance with contemporary influences.
Whether you’re brand new to belly dance, returning to your practice, or looking to expand your movement vocabulary, our January schedule has something for you. In addition to weekly classes, deepen your self-care practice with our Moon Salutes Yoga Workshop, a grounding and meditative experience to support balance and reflection. Advance registration is required for workshops and strongly encouraged for classes, as space is limited. Join us this January and move into the New Year feeling energized, supported, and inspired.
Special New Year's Day Workshop

Belly Dance Basics
January 4 - January 25, 2026

Join in on the fun and belly dance with us! Learn the fundamentals of classic belly dance style while enjoying an engaging movement experience. Each class you will be introduced to basic isolations, steps, and short combinations. History and styles of belly dance will be discussed. This class is perfect for beginners or those wishing to refine their technique. Class starts with a cardio warm-up and ends with a yoga cool down. Wear comfortable clothes such as yoga pants and a t-shirt and bring a water bottle. No refunds unless session is canceled by instructor. Opportunities to make up missed classes will be available! Belly Dance Fitness (Hybrid Class)*

Enjoy this fitness fusion class! This class is great for students new to belly dance, those looking for a low impact workout, and individuals aiming to strengthen their technique. Class starts with a mat based warm-up focusing on core strengthening, then moves into belly dance technique and combinations. In this series you'll learn a beautiful choreography to the classic song Lama Bada Yatathana. Class ends with a relaxing stretch. This is an all levels class. Zoom link will be sent after registration. Please register at least 1 hour before class in order to get the Zoom link. No refunds unless class is canceled by instructor.

Belly Dance Beyond Basics

Join us for a fun-filled belly dance experience! In this session, we will go beyond the basics of classic belly dance while enjoying an immersive and engaging movement experience. Each class introduces you to essential isolations, steps, and combinations, and explores the relevant history of the dance. This class is ideal for advanced beginners and those looking to enhance their dance skills in a supportive environment. Wear comfortable attire, such as yoga pants and a t-shirt, and remember to bring a water bottle. Please note, refunds are only available if the session is canceled by the instructor, but makeup classes will be arranged. We accept payment via cash, check, credit card, or PayPal.

Modern Belly Dance Fusion

Join us for a captivating Modern Belly Dance Fusion class that celebrates uplifted posture, graceful arm work, fluid movements, and earthy expression. We'll incorporate elements from Western dance styles, including pops and locks, lyrical dance, and original combinations to create a unique experience.
In this session, you'll learn fundamental techniques, expand your dance vocabulary, learn exciting belly dance routines, and explore the use of props. Our music selection will span from traditional Middle Eastern sounds to EDM and pop, ensuring an energizing atmosphere. The month we'll start learning an ooey gooey fusion choreography inspired by sinuous, snake like movements.
Each class begins with a conditioning warm-up and concludes with a soothing yoga cool down. This session is suitable for all levels, so whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, we can't wait to dance with you! Please note, there are no refunds unless the class is canceled by the instructor.

Workshops
Moon Salutes Yoga Workshop
January 18, 2:00 - 3:30PM
$20 pay in advance/$25 at the door
Moon Salutes are deeply meditative and grounding practices. This workshop will guide you to become the guiding force in your own life through meditation. Throughout the class, you will be led through a series of poses designed to invoke change and cultivate harmony, balance, and introspection. While practitioners of all levels are welcome, familiarity with yoga is highly recommended.
Participants should bring their own yoga mats for the session. Refunds will only be issued if the class is canceled by the instructor. Advance registration is recommended to secure your spot.
