July Classes! Both In Person and Online!

I'm excited to announce in person studio classes starting in July! We're excited to finally be opening up for more classes! We're offering a variety of specials this month and adding yoga classes to the schedule. Masks are still required unless you can show proof of covid-19 vaccination. For those of you who love the flexibility of learning from home, Zoom classes will still be offered on Tuesday evenings! Class passes can be used for all classes (must be used in month of purchase). Scroll to the bottom to find all class pass options. New beginner belly dance classes can also be purchased as a 6 week session. Can't wait to see you. Much gratitude!


Monday Classes


Intoduction to Belly Dance

5:30PM-630PM (no class July 12)

6 Week Session July 5 - August 16, 2021 $75 or $15 Drop-in

Always wanted to try belly dance? In this series learn belly dance from the ground up. Specifically designed for beginners, you’ll learn the fundamentals of this rich dance form. Students will be learn belly dance isolations, traveling steps, footwork, shimmies, arm pathways, and much more. Technique will be clearly broken down and movements will be put together in combinations. Let’s have fun dancing! No refunds unless class is canceled by instructor.


Belly Dance Drills

7:00PM-8:00PM (no class July 12)

Bring your skills to the next level in this drills class. Learn belly dance technique, mechanics, and sequences to build skills. Class starts with a mat conditioning sequence. We'll be working on shimmies and balancing skills during July! This class is good for all levels. Some belly dance experience is helpful. 4 class pass can be used on August 2nd.


Belly Dance Choreography (no class July 12)

8:10PM-9:10PM

In this session, you will learn an original choreography. Technique used in the choreography will be drilled along with transitions, dance expression, stagecraft, and dancing in formations. Class starts with a cardio warm-up and ends with a yoga cool down. 4 class pass can be used on August 2nd.


Tuesday Online Classes


Level 1 Belly Dance (Zoom Class)

7:00PM-7:50PM (No Class July 13)

Join in on the fun and belly dance with us! Learn the fundamentals of classic belly dance style while enjoying an engaging movement experience. Each class you will be introduced to basic isolations, steps, combinations, and short routines. Discussion of history and styles of belly dance will be referenced. This class is perfect for beginners or those wishing to refine their technique. Class starts with a cardio warm-up and ends with a yoga cool down. 4 class pass may be used on August 3rd.


Belly Dance Level 2/Datura Style (Zoom Class)

8:00PM-9:00PM (No Class July 13)

Belly Dance Level 2 builds on material learned in previous classes. Students will learn more complex belly dance technique including Datura Style Belly Dance (https://www.rachelbrice.com/what-is-datura-style). Combinations will be drilled along with transitions, dance expression, and stagecraft. Class starts with a cardio warm-up and ends with a yoga cool down. 1 Year of belly dance classes is recommended. 4 class pass may be used on August 3rd.


Thursday Classes


Slow Flow Yoga

5:00PM-6:00PM

Enjoy gentle vinyasa flow style classes including energizing sun salutes, a variety of standing poses, long stretches, breath work and relaxation. This class is suitable for all levels. Students should bring their own mats.


Sunday Classes


Yoga I

12:00PM -1:00PM Starts July 18, 2021

In this class you’ll be led through the fundamental yoga poses with clear instruction. Enjoy engaging sequences including sun salutes, standing poses, strength building poses, and relaxation. This class moves at a moderate pace. Suitable for all levels. Students should bring their own mats.


Belly Dance Fundamentals

1:15PM-2:15PM

6 Week Session July 18 - August 22, 2021 $75/$60 special if purchased in advance!


Belly Dance Fundamentals focuses on belly dance technique, learning new dance vocabulary, an introduction to finger cymbals, combinations, and musicality. Each class starts with a conditioning warm-up and ends with a yoga cool down. This is a mixed levels class. Can’t wait to dance with you!No refunds unless class is canceled by instructor.


Class passes may be mixed and matched for classes. Students who purchase a 6 week session can make up missed classes. Passes must be used in the month of purchase unless otherwise noted. No refunds on class pass purchases. Prices and registration below:
