So, if you're looking for a place to start belly dance, this is the class for you! While it is encouraging that covid cases continue to drop, masks are still required at the studio. Belly Dance Fitness
Have fun in this upbeat dance fitness class. You'll bring your skills to the next level in this this class! We'll start with a conditioning mat based warm-up, move into a shimmy drill, high energy combinations, and finish with a yoga cool down. Learn belly dance technique, mechanics, and sequences to build skills. This class is good for all levels. No refunds unless class is canceled by instructor.
Belly Dance Choreography
In this session, you will learn an original finger cymbal choreography. Technique used in the choreography will be drilled along with transitions, dance expression, stagecraft, and dancing in formations. Class starts with a cardio warm-up and ends with a yoga cool down. Level 1 Belly Dance (Zoom Class)
Join in on the fun and belly dance with us! Learn the fundamentals of classic belly dance style while enjoying an engaging movement experience. Each class you will be introduced to basic isolations, steps, combinations, and short routines. Discussion of history and styles of belly dance will be referenced. Belly Dance Level 2/Datura Style (Zoom Class)
Belly Dance Level 2 builds on material learned in previous classes. Students will learn more complex belly dance technique including Datura Style Belly Dance (https://www.rachelbrice.com/what-is-datura-style). Combinations will be drilled along with transitions, dance expression, and stagecraft. Class starts with a cardio warm-up and ends with a yoga cool down. 1 Year of belly dance classes is recommended. Datura Style Improvisation
In this class you'll learn this unique and beautiful fusion belly dance style. Datura Style is a the brain child of Rachel Brice. This class will include learning Datura steps, cues, and formations. This is an intermediate level class. 2 years of belly dance is recommended. No refunds unless class is canceled by instructor.

Shadowing and Flocking Improvisation
March 13th, 3:00PM
Learn this beautiful improvisation form. In this workshop you will be lead through exercises aimed at shadowing your partner and flocking as a group. These techniques offer students creative freedom and connection. A performance opportunity is available for students attending this and future workshops.
