I’m thrilled to announce this festive 8-week workshop series inspired by one of my favorite scenes from The Nutcracker — the enchanting Arabian (Coffee) dance. Step into the magic of the season as we bring this piece to life through a captivating fusion of belly dance and Western dance artistry.

This choreography features dramatic poses, elegant floorwork, and fluid transitions designed to enhance your grace, presence, and expressive power. Together, we’ll explore how to authentically and seamlessly weave belly dance technique into the rich world of this holiday classic.

This is an intermediate-level choreography, but adventurous beginners are warmly welcome! Students will also have the opportunity to perform at our Winter Recital on January 24th. A hybrid option through Zoom is available, though dancers wishing to perform should plan to attend December and January classes in person. Zoom videos will be available for 1 week after each class to review or make-up a class if you miss it live. No refunds unless class is canceled by instructor.
