Start the Year Right: New Classes and Events in January!

I'd like to wish all of you a wonderful New Year! It's the start of the year and we have a lot of exciting classes and workshops coming up! We're kicking off a new hybrid series called Belly Dance Core Fusion on Mondays at 7PM. This class integrates belly dance movements with core strengthening fitness exercises. You'll also learn a short belly dance routine by the end of the series.Take advantage of our flash sale on Belly Dance Core Fusion! $55 for the 4 week series if you purchase by Friday, January 5th! On Sunday January 14th enjoy 2 fitness and wellness workshops: Belly Dance Boot Camp at 1:00PM and Moon Salutations at 3:00PM. Keep your eyes peeled for our Winter Open House at the end of the month!

Belly Dance Basics

January 6 - January 27, 2024

Join in on the fun and belly dance with us! Learn the fundamentals of classic belly dance style while enjoying an engaging movement experience. Each class you will be introduced to basic isolations, steps, and short combinations. History and styles of belly dance will be discussed. This class is perfect for beginners or those wishing to refine their technique. Class starts with a cardio warm-up and ends with a yoga cool down. Wear comfortable clothes such as yoga pants and a t-shirt and bring a water bottle. No refunds unless session is canceled by instructor. Opportunities to make up missed classes will be available! Slow Flow Yoga

January 6 - January 27, 2024

12:00-1:00PM

$65 for 4 week series/$20 drop-in/$15 drop-in registered in full belly dance session



Flow into alignment with this new series. Sahra is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Functional Movement Specialist, as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. She will bring her unique perspective to create a custom experience for you. In this series you'll learn how to smoothly transition between poses with ease, learn the fundamental alignment for many yoga poses, as well as many modifications to adapt to your needs. This series includes energizing sun salutes, a variety of standing poses, long stretches, breath work and relaxation. Awareness will be brought to breath and intention throughout the practice. We'll end with a body scan to deeply relax. This class is suitable for all levels. Students should bring their own mats. No refunds unless class is canceled by instructor.

Belly Dance Boot Camp Hybrid Workshop

This workshop is geared to make you move, sweat, and drill the basics of belly dance. We’ll start with a conditioning warm-up incorporating belly dance isolations, then on to cardio based dance combinations, shimmies, and steps to hone in on muscle engagement. A satisfying yoga cool down waits for you at the end of this workout! This class is appropriate for all levels. It moves fast and is low impact. Please bring a yoga mat for the warm up and cool down. No refunds unless workshop is cancelled by instructor. Zoom link will be sent after registration.


Moon Salutes Yoga Workshop

Moon salutes are meditative and grounding practices. In anticipation of the Beaver Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse, this workshop will focus on being the guiding force in your own life through meditation. In this class you'll be led through a series of poses to both invoke change and create harmony, balance, and introspection. All levels are welcome, however these poses require strength and stamina. Familiarity with yoga is highly recommended. Students should bring their own yoga mats. No refunds unless class is canceled by instructor. Students must register in advance.

Belly Dance Core Fusion (Hybrid Class)

January 8-January 29, 2024

7:00PM-8:00PM

$65 for 4 classes/$20 drop-in



Enjoy this fitness fusion class! This class is great for students new to belly dance, those looking for a low impact workout, and individuals aiming to strengthen their technique. Class starts with a mat based warm-up focusing on core strengthening, then moves into belly dance technique and combinations. Belly dance movements will integrate core strengthening and toning. We'll work with these combinations into a short dance routine. Class ends with a relaxing stretch. This is an all levels class. Zoom link will be sent after registration.

Belly Dance Choreography: 8:00-8:55PM

Moving beyond the basics, this session integrates steps, combinations, and belly dance props! You'll learn an original theatrical belly dance choreography. This class is perfect for adventurous beginners as well as intermediate students. No refunds unless class is canceled by instructor.



Thursday Classes


Fusion Belly Dance Fundamentals

January 4- January 25, 2024

6:30PM -7:30PM


Fusion belly dance is known for its uplifted posture, beautiful arm work, ooey gooey moves, and earthy presentation. In this session you’ll learn the fundamental technique, dance vocabulary for synchronized group improvisation, belly dance combinations, and an introduction to finger cymbals. Each class starts with a conditioning warm-up and ends with a yoga cool down. This session is designed for mixed levels. Can’t wait to dance with you!
